Diagnostic and support services

The Autism Resource Centre is intended to be a place for Autistic people to access a range of diagnostic and support services. The Autism Resource Centre is a custom-built space that is truly accessible to Autistic people. The design considers the needs of the autistic community. It is wheel-chair accessible and includes sensory-friendly light sources, quiet rooms, and transition spaces to support people in entering and leaving the building.

Currently our diagnostic service, outreach service, and employment service are run from the Autism Resource Centre. The Victoria University of Wellington Autism Clinic offer support services from the centre, as well as several support groups.

Spaces are available for individual practitioners and organisations to provide support from within the centre.

Meeting Room Hire

$90+ GST /day or $15 + GST / hour

  • We can organise catering and provide tea and coffee (additional cost)

Clinical Room Hire

$30+ GST /day or $5 + GST / hour

  • Additional room with 2-waymirror for observations
  • Available use of quiet rooms
  • Available use of sensory resources

Physical Therapy Room Hire

$30+ GST /day or $5 + GST / hour

  • Available use of quiet rooms
  • Available use of sensory resources

Permanent Desks

$349+ GST / monthor $19 + GST / day

  • 24/7 access with swipe card
  • Mail can be delivered to reception
  • Printer use and WIFI
  • Storage locker
