Key dates for enrolments.

Enrolment Journey:

Enrolments for Encompass Education Hub open on the 1st of June before moving into a review period. A ballot is then held if capacity is exceeded (45 places in Wellington, 90 places in Auckland). Outcomes of this are communicated to family and Whānau after which meetings are held with the student and their Whānau to discuss mutual fit at Encompass. Students who are accepted, will then be enrolled, with orientation happening in November. A timeline of the process is included below.

Online enrolment form and ‘Stepping Stones’ guide to enrolment

1st June – 8 July 2026

Enrolments considered

Enrolment progresses if student meets parameters for which Encompass Education Hub has been established. Enrolment declined if student does not meet parameters for which Encompass Education Hub has been established.

9th July 2026

Ballot Held

Ballot held if enrolments exceed capacity for site. 45 places in Wellington, 90 places in Auckland.

By 14th July 2026

Ballot outcome announced

Whānau informed of outcome of ballot. A waitlist will be established for students who cannot be offered a place at this time.

13th July – 7th August 2026

Enrolment confirmation

Whānau meetings with Senior Leadership members of Encompass Education Hub. Enrolment confirmed by mutual agreement post-whānau meeting.

November 2026

Orientation

Orientation visits and events for students and whānau.

Autism Connect App

The Autism Connect app is a video chat tool for connecting our community together. Created for autistic people and those who make up their support network – so that they can connect, share learnings and journey together.

For the safety of our Autism NZ users and online community, we require every user to be verified using photo identification. Our team may contact you via email and/or phone as part of the verification process, prior to issuing you a username and password to use the Autism Dashboard and requested services.
