Key dates for enrolments.

Enrolment Journey:

Applications for enrolments to join Encompass Education Hub in 2027 opened on 1st June. The first tranche of applications is now being processed by the leadership team and enrolment meetings are being held with whānau.  
 
The Wellington Hub has met its capacity of 45 students. There are still spaces available at the Auckland Hub. You are welcome to complete an application for enrolment for either Wellington or Auckland if your child will be in Year 9 – 13 in 2027.
 
In Wellington, if your child meets parameters for enrolment, they will be placed on the waiting list, and you will be contacted if a place comes available. In Auckland we will begin processing the next tranche of applications in late August and we will be in touch then. 

13th July – 7th August 2026

Enrolment meetings with whanau for first tranche of applications & offer of place

Whānau meetings with Senior Leadership members of Encompass Education Hub. Enrolment confirmed by mutual agreement post-whānau meeting.

Mid-late August

Senior leadership members will consider the second tranche of applications for enrolment received since 8th July.

The enrolment will progress if the student meets parameters for which Encompass Education Hub has been established. Enrolment declined if student does not meet parameters for which Encompass Education Hub has been established.

In Wellington students will be placed on the waiting list, and you will be contacted if a place comes available. In Auckland we will be in touch to arrange a whānau meeting. Enrolment will be confirmed by mutual agreement post-whānau meeting.

September - November 2026

Applications for enrolment continue to be accepted for students starting in 2027.

In Wellington students will be placed on the waiting list, and you will be contacted if a place comes available.

In Auckland the enrolment process will continue until the site reaches its capacity of 95 students. After this, students will be placed on a waiting list.

Autism Connect Service.

Autism Connect App

The Autism Connect app is a video chat tool for connecting our community together. Created for autistic people and those who make up their support network – so that they can connect, share learnings and journey together.

For the safety of our Autism NZ users and online community, we require every user to be verified using photo identification. Our team may contact you via email and/or phone as part of the verification process, prior to issuing you a username and password to use the Autism Dashboard and requested services.
