05. Social Groups

Autistic Adult Social Group (18+).  Meets 2nd Monday of every month in the upstairs meeting room of Invercargill City Library. 
Bring your own drinks and snacks.  Friends and support people are welcome.  
 
CCS Social Group (18+) for anyone with a disability, their friends and support people. 
Meets every Tuesday between 12:00 pm and 15:00 pm at The Workingman’s Club (near the duke box).

The Outreach Singing Trust runs regular community singing sessions in the Invercargill Civic Theatre Foyer on the second Tuesday of every month. Come and join us for a sing through some old favourites. We start at 12:30 and sing for 30 minutes.
 
Singing is known to have benefits for health and well-being, it’s a great way to get energised, connect with others and boost your well-being. All welcome. Please note this is for EVERYONE who enjoys singing, regardless of self-perceived singing ability!

Autism Connect App

The Autism Connect app is a video chat tool for connecting our community together. Created for autistic people and those who make up their support network – so that they can connect, share learnings and journey together.

For the safety of our Autism NZ users and online community, we require every user to be verified using photo identification. Our team may contact you via email and/or phone as part of the verification process, prior to issuing you a username and password to use the Autism Dashboard and requested services.
